Interesting interpretation of the theme.
I love the orangey-yellow and blue combination you used. It works well together. the lightbulb and the cord are very clever with the bright light source behind (?) the bulb really pulling your title together and optically standing out and drawing my eye.
I don't understand the big light reflection in the bottom half of the picture though. IMO it detracts from the bulb and light at the top. I feel the whole bottom could have been cropped out. In the present pic you could have also edited the little yellow "smudge" out at the bottom of the Photo just making the image tidier. |
Thanks for your insights kasaba. That reflection is actually a street lamp...I suppose I got attached to that idea as opposed to the "no one else will see it like that, you dummy" idea, so unfortunately I think many agreed with you. Seeing it now, the entire bottom doesn't belong, like you said. A nice, simple, blue and orange complement would've been nice. Oh well! |
