As the Rum River leaves Lake Ogeechie it falls over Buckmoore Dam. This gem is part of Kathio State Park, a park most noted for it's Indian history, having numerous settlements and burial mounds within it's boundaries. The Rum River joins the Mississippi about 100 kilomters south of here.
This prolonged exposure was made late in twilight and @ -15C temps. The rocks have ice on them and one looks like a ice turtle!
