 This lady lives in the mountains near to Sa Pa in Northern Vietnam. She is a member of the minority Black Hmong ethnic group.

The black colour on her hands is from the dye in her costume.

The thing that hits me about this image is the hand. It reflects the mammoth hard toil that has left them looking as though they should belong to a much older person not someone in the prime of life. This makes the image a strong social documentary with a purpose, well done
