 I just wanted to note that the blown out sky up on the right was intentional, to provide a counter point to the sihouetted dog.

I guess if the people were colser in the frame people would have associated the shot more with the family dog. This was an exhausted dog trotting over to get a frisbee, no more "run" in him, still the God of frolic.

A lovely photo, but I don't think the missing children are implied so much as the idea of a go-it-alone dog.

windy title aside ... nice capture here. croping some of the right side would make subject appear a tad more in the frame. gl

The cool texture/pattern on the sand looks good in the sunlight, nice to see some people in the background there too, as dogs on the beach do tend to go bolting off miles away! The patch of sky with the sun is very blown and it would've been good to see a few more details there but that is a difficult thing to capture. Nice shot overall.
