I’ve been very busy lately with no time to shoot or process. And I’ve been in a bit of a dry spell. This Saturday, I took off for the city with no particular objective in mind. I parked the car and walked around for a few hours … and got a ton of good stuff; too much for the current slate of challenges.

Absolutely - the devil is in the details. And I wish you had a wee little bit on the left of the picture. The long shadow has a great impact and needs more space.

The shadow add a lot pod extra depth to this photo. I can't imagine it would have the same impact on an overcast day.

I hate photographing brick as it never feels straight and level to me. This holds up well enough though. I like the geometry, the composition. Good use of the rule.

Lovely texture, choice of angle, exposure and of course time of the day. While it does not suggest me any particular feeling, I find it a very strong image, visually.

Excellent photo, but not a golden rectangle proportions. Would have been a ribbon image if you had cropped with golden ratio in mind.

When you draw a grid of 9 on this and then draw the ratio, would this fit? I'm not too sure No vote
