 First attempt at using a backdrop. Just the camera and one speedlite flash 430 attached to hot shoe - think I need additional lights or skill to get the background totally white. Happy with this as a first attempt though shame I left the broom stick in and can't remove it due to Basic Editing. It was a very rushed photo shoot due to the subjects involved and a concerned mother:) Doesn't really emphasise the carvings either so guess combined with the fact it contains evil children (one of which is out of focus) I will score badly.... My daughter enjoyed carving her first pumpkin and when lit up the cat looked pretty damn good - I hear you asking why didn't I photograph it lit up then:)
