I knew of one location that was easily to get to that has one large tree whose leaves changes colors. Had not been there in years but luckily the tree is still there. No orange but red and yellow fits autumn colors just as well. Spray with dewdrops add snail shell for a touch more nature and photograph on black slate. Done.

I finally found out what the name of that tree is - Acer rubrum (Red Maple, also known as Swamp, Water or Soft Maple)

I loved to see this picture....it did remind me of when i was a girl, 7 or maybe 8 yrs old, and with the first rains of the season i used to find snails in my garden everwhere, so one day i decided that i wanted to be a 'snail breeder' .... So i took a shoes box and filled it up with leaves and stones, and i went to put in there a few snails.... I did well for the first day, as per for the second all of them where gone away..except fir one, who was hiding exactly like the one in your picture....it made me smile, and i decided to get her back from where i took it....-so my snail business ended there :)

Have forgotten this for a long time. It was nice to remember. Thank you.lovely one

I'm MAD for this. Just glorious. I have such a thing for leaves. The inclusion of the snail is the piece de resistance. WOW Congrats.
