This wonderful pillar of a tree live only a few blocks from me. It's really quite cool how it towers above everything around it, even the nearby buildings (now that the tall one has been demolished). What's really cool is how it waited until most of the other trees around had lost their colors to really shine, and light up the landscape.

Great image. Love the very low horizon with the all sky background and shape of the large tree. Also the way the large tree dwarf's all the other little trees.
