It is intriguing the apparent imbroglio started by the inclusion of the woman- further fueled by selective desat! I am a big fan of selective desat, but not here. I am also a big fan of women, but also not here. Of course, that is based upon my hand in front of the monitor crop edit, so take it for what its worth. I just think it has a gritty feel with just the guy and the long counter- like a member of the Pogues, or the like. I do like the behind the counter feel though. Shots like these give you so much to work with!

Much the better of the two. The selective desat detracts (at least for me) from the subject. Well spotted
