Beautiful Place

I actually didn't take this for DPC. This was one of the photos from my hiking trip. If I had known this was the challenge I would have returned and taken a better photo at sunset.

Why only one second? ;-) Actually, did you get any longer exposure shots? I bet the water would have been super smoooooooth. Beautiful anyways.

I keep wanting to scroll up in the image to see a bit more of the sky and the mountains on the sides. The clouds are blown out quite a bit because you exposed for the shady valley. You could have remedied that by combining two (or more exposures), one for the valley and one for the sky. I also wish that the water was moving a bit more to create some extra texture in the main part of your image.
