am SM 47 will never record anything from that angle and I'd never use it for drums ....aside from that nice pic

A slight left leaning feel to it, possibly caused by the white in the bottom right corner.

you';re going to record that whole kit with just one mic? hmm .. there are much better ways. photographically this is cool altho im still trying to figure out if i like the centered composition. ill get back to you ...

This is a very interesting shot. I like the B&W. I like the depth of field. And I like the microphone right smack in the middle of the shot. Forget the rule of thirds! Sometimes this just works. And it does here.

a traditional mic would have worked better here.
