 Taken during the ALMS race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. 6 hour endurance race with 4 classes of cars running at the same time. The photo is of the winning car in the GT class, # 45 of Team Flying Lizard taken 5 hours 38 minutes into the race. The cars and track take quite a beating in this amount of time, starting on a sunny afternoon clean, shiny and damage free they end up looking like this. Covered with pieces of melted tire rubber, beat up, missing body parts with duct tape covering damage. Not all the cars finish but the ones that do have covered an amazing amount of distance and i thought this images captured the emotion and effect of a long day of hard racing. Not a lot of editing, Crop, curves, minor color adjust, wish the race fell within the shutter speed challenge but that's how it goes :)

Good stop action here good angle you have the car in coming out of the corner maybe you could have crop a bit tighter have more of the car in the image ..Well done
