 Abstract challenge and kayak competition in the same weekend, too good an opportunity to miss.

Same theme as the kayak shot in fine arts... so I tried to distance this one from that image with all I could. It's water again with long exposure and the colors are reflections from the kayak passing directly above. Rotated 90 degrees, viveza to enhance the whites, which is when I saw the greens so I enhanced them too. Then, a lot of sharpening, similar to the kayak shot, to get the feeling of brush strokes. Bot images are of course inspired by a posthumous image.
Looking from left to right it reminded me of flamingos and peacock's tail, hence the title.

8 from me. ironically, as soon as i saw this was yours it reminded me of the kayak shot....when i was voting i know it rang a bell of familiarity but now i know what it was. you did a good job of distancing it though , i didn't put it together until i saw your comments :)

Absolutely beautiful colors and sense of motion. Seen lots of these in this challenge, and this is the only one I've liked. Quite lovely. Strikes me as a Salmiakki image? Only my second 8 in this challenge.
