 Waking up to find this scene at the lake was more than I could have hoped for. Wasn't really able to do it justice but being there in the moment was worth it!

Taking a chance with this one...I typically don't like to have this much sun in an image but it seemed to best suit the challenge of everything I shot this week. I expect there will be comments about the colors being too overprocessed but with the mist rising off the water, and a slight underexposure plus the lens flare, it brought out the wonderful gradient. I really wish the heron had been closer for a larger silhouette.

When I opened this up I didn't see the title, and the first thing went thru my mind was On Golden Pond! LOL Great shot! And you got the crane to stand just right in the shot HOW??

With just one sliver of sky the picture would benefit much. (as is, the sky is too yellow and occupies too much space)

I was looking over the thumbnails before starting to vote, and just HAD to look at the full view!! I was not disappointed. Lovely colors and misty image.
