The second this challenge was posted, the Sun literally disappeared for days. I was really worried I wasn't going to get any shots with the sun. This afternoon I was in the car park of my local supermarket, and lo and behold, the sun made an appearance. I felt it would be a great opportunity for a photo. Albeit, not the best place in Brighton to take a photo, but the weather was slightly surreal (as it usually is in the UK). We had sunny weather, and mixed into that was various different clouds, as well as fog. A perfect combination?? You tell me. I also felt the outline of the floodlights gave the shot a sense of reality.
I took this photo on my Nokia N8, and I haven't done anything to it apart from increase total contrast, and hue, as well as increase a bit of the shadows. No photoshop trickery involved!
The title of the photo are the words Sun, Sky & Cloud, and I chopped them up a bit to create an unusual name - mainly by removing the s from sky, and the c from cloud (don't ask) lol.
Don't think this photo will rate very high, cos none of my photos do, but I like it - hope you will too!!!! ;o) |
