 No focal lengths were hurt during this shot. Just weird flare from my bulbous lens shooting into the stairwell lights. A bit out of focus, and I think that helped the flare.

It is a very interesting shot -- I am not sure how well it would score in the flare challenge.

Probably, but still cool. And the flare isn't as good as in the other one either.
Changed focal length when aperture was open?
