So many will not consider this lens flare. And heck, it may not be. It's there - really - but not especially apparent. But it is eating that guy's head! That's some hungry flare!

What kills me is that I can get flare all the time without trying... but when I actually TRY to get flare, I can't! And I've been trying!! After all, I'm up against Sarah, and with our matching averages it's going to be quite the battle to see who can come closest to reaching our average.... heh!!

Also, had to enter this one as a nod to Spiffy. So Spiffy, this one's for you.

Ah, the sweet smell of failure.

Can't you see the flare eating his head??

Oh well. On to Sun in Frame. I can pretty much just reshoot this and see how it does for that challenge, yes? :-)

Hmmm... I saw the flare! I only gave it a 7 instead of my usual 8 though... Sorry!

Your 112th beat my 136th :) I see the flare. If you had that obvious line-up of circles of color I have no doubt this would have finished in 12th place :D

btw - I really like how the light catches the details in the sand on the bottom right.

What a gorgeous place to ride! Wish I had some of that seaside near me.

Added: Have you noticed the stick figure cyclist on the pavement is setting a good example by wearing a helmet? I just noticed that on my own local bike trail last night when I was out riding.

Blows my mind that this is in the 4s. Hoping by now that it's crept up a bit.

I love this image, Deb. Your flare is like Tinkerbell. You have to believe in it to see it :-) I'm kidding. The flare is there for everyone to see.
