 Portrait of my friend leo for his personal use. Shot at f/7.1, 1/250th. SB-800 Flash bounced in a 60" umbrella straight on with subject, up high pointing down on him. ISO 200. Layer Mask dodge and burn, curves, Smart Sharpen, Masked High Pass sharpen on eyes and shirt. Lab Colour on Lightness layer dodge and burn to enhance shadows and highlights on the skin, restored back to RGB color space, Shadow/Highlight adjustment layer. Crop, and save.

The color and contrast is really good in this image, but I'm not sure if the subject is jiving with me. He just seems to be a bit...bored. I bed this guy has more personality than this; it just doesn't seem to be coming across here.
