Taken about an hour before sunrise, this Hawk is ready to find and capture the first unwary prey animal that it sees.
Unfortunately some voters didn't consider that this image could be taken 'well after the sun goes down' because of the color of the sky. I knew that this would be a possibility before I entered the challenge.
