 This image has a special meaning to me and is only appropriate I finish this wonderful side challenge with a priceless moment I was lucky enough to witness.
In this shot taken in the Far North of Vietnam in 2008 is a young mother who consoles her teenage daughter. The daughter has just been rejected by a boy at the local market where young hill tribe members gather to meet and socialise.
For many members of these hill tribes who live in isolation these markets can be the only contact with other tribal members and hence these markets have been dubbed the "Love Markets"
The markets have a very long history but recently have been in-fluxed with tourist. I don't know how long the can maintain the tradition without succumbing to the Western influence........
I know I shall return, such the impact of this place.
