I am so proud of this picture, I amaze myself. LOL
To answer Nadine's question, these leaves were not cut. This is the way the Traveler Palm (closely related to the banana tree) grows. I took this with a long lens, and the subject is about 10 feet above my head.

I PERSONALLY WAS MOVED BY THIS IMAGE MORE THAN ALL THE OTHERS as it would be like the many images I have taken of my own tropical backyard garden.... I felt like home again with this awesome piece of NATURE in the STYLE of SHERPET....THANK YOU as you honored me beautifully..... from shez
I had to find which one was yours... Seriously should've been in the top 5... Congrats on a good finish though, I'd be happy if all of mine made it to 11th or even top 20!!
Did you cut these leaves? or are they like that?
If they're cut: it gives an additional "schwung" to the image. I only hope your plant won't suffer too much to heal it's "wounds".
NOW THIS IS A STYLE OF SHERPET.....I have never seen anything like this BUT I LOVE IT..... The leading curving lines re the differant shades of the fronds colors make this beauty stand out.....THIS WOULD LOOK AMAZING as a HUGE CANVAS hung on any wall, even my wall.... THANK YOU so much for sharing this BEAUTY with me..... A TRUE STYLE SHERPET
EXCELLENT
I love the PEARLY PALE BLUES, SOFT MAUVES, and PEARLY WHITES, against the darker shades YEA I LOVE IT.....
THANK YOU for entering this amazing TRAVLERS PALM image
from shez with love xox
