 One of the estates lakes on the grounds used to supply water to one of the worlds first hydroelectric power stations. The beauitiufl surroundings of rothbury are some of the best in Northumberland. The autumn light was perfect at bringing out the calming colours of the sky and golden bronze reeds against the still waters.
