This could be consider a DNMC my some. However, I think it meets the challenge. If you give me a compass and a stick, I can tell you the time to within 10 minute accuracy.....if the sun is shining.

It's an interesting loking picture, but watch out with the edges of the tree. The colours are lovely.

Super silhouette work and relevant to the challenge spirit. But is it getting hammered cos it's not a pic of a clock? Bah Humbug if it is!
I love it...Three strong elements and scale reference to tell the time as any hiker or "out there" type should be able to. Due the mist I'd say it was morning and about 7:30-8:00am? Hehe.
