In actually, he's a Portuguese bullfighter who comes here to ride in California's non-lethal events, and he'd be looking down at the bull whom he'd lured to the horse's flank. The bulls wear a big patch of loop side velcro, the lances have a loop of hook side velcro. The horses are ridden in one hand in a curb bit.

post challenge. Usually you'd have the tail in the photo, as well as both legs. It would have been a landscape shot. I continually make the mistake of thinking that voters understand horses' "sacred geometry".

This is sort of nice, but I feel that the subject is vertical anyway, and the loss of lower legs spoils the image a bit. If they had been lost due to a horizontal framing it might have been more justified.
