 Well as seems to be a running theme with me and submitting photos for these challenges I've been very busy this week and so the first chance I got to shoot for this was on the last evening of submission.

Unfortunately the tide was in so I couldn't get any pier reflection shots or shots from underneath the pier, both of which can look stunning, and the sunset this evening has consisted of black rain clouds consuming the sky, so that wasn't too great either. Therefore I decided to go with this style of shot - not what I envisaged when I set out and I don't expect it to score too well (hopefully low 5's) but I'd be happy with that - it's just a shame I couldn't portray how the pier has been burnt out better. Perhaps I'll get another chance in a future challenge.

this is absolutely gorgeous. had I voted, a ten - more if possible. reminds me of W G Sebald, The Rings of Saturn.

pitty, but tje main subject here is the horizont, not the building, which is even impossible to recognise

Like: The area, the board, how you got the sky, the water and the sand.
Dislike: The dock is a little far away.
