I just retired from a state prison where I would not be allowed to take pictures, so I took the next best thing. I had a hard time with getting rid of the background and glare from the ball and club. Definately something I have to work on.

I wish the shot wasn't so dark. In the thumbnail I didn't even see the club. Like the yellow ball, but need to see the club. 5 is all I can go on this. PTL

Tough looking old left-handed driver. Good action shot. JEM

Why ARE there so few left-handed golfers? I think the slightest bit less glare on the ball would help, but good job keeping the writing and the logo on the club very clear.

That looks like some pretty old golf gear. Your buddies must give you a hard time :) I'm a golfer and my goal is to golf every day when I retire (in approximately 30 years) so I'll give you a 10. Oh yeah, the shot is technically sound too. jacko.

Cool shot, one of my favorites this week. Might have worked better with a lighter background. DPz

The obvious elements that power this image for me are the yellow plus golden combo, the tiger logo, the perfect mix of club blur and stillness, the feel of the wood, the very graphic composition of just a few elements. Some things that I would have done different personally (imho) are a different background, less intense ball highlight and a hint more tee. But those are minor hagglings of an otherwise terrific shot...8 bullwinkle

What a good candidate for the motion challenge! I love the composition and colors. Nicely done!

Ye olde pull it backwards movement trick is becoming a bit overused, white border is a bit pointless and makes the active picture area smaller.

I like the picture, but the border is too intrusive for my tastes.

u were a pro golfer? this is a well done image. would have worked well for motion. the light on the ball is too glary, a bit blown out.

nice capture... if you want stop motion a little more shutter speed... otherwise just darken it a bit to reduce the glare on the ball
