I like the softness; it works here; nice mood created with the smoke- if he was staring down it might work better; or perhaps off into the middle distance, it loses some mystique and feel with the eyes aware of the camera.

I like this, the smoke, the lighting. But the focus is too soft for my taste.

Loving the smoke. There are several entries where the cigarette isn't lit. Sorry, but film noir was FULL of smoked cigarettes. LOL Great light and shadow play.

Nice lighting. The smoke is a nice touch. He's got a Bogart or Edward R Morrow face.
