My footprint, on a sandy beach at Lake Mendota, Madison, WI. I fear that this photo will get slammed in the voting because it doesn't have a foot in it, much less feet, but I'm being a bit creative in my interpretation of the challenge. Besides, I think this is a great concept!

Increased red saturation, curves to enhance shadows, crop, and significant clone stamping to remove many unlikely bits of vegetation.

like the idea. Who knows what the government is hiding? Little green people! nice composition and texture...maybe not too red enough for Mars though.

Very creative use of soil with that cool martain color shift. Good comp and good use of negative space. Bumping from 5 to 6.

It lacks sharper focus and maybe a tighter vertical frame would be better. The stones at the right distract IMO.

I can tell this photo is a fake! Martians have webbed feet. Seriously though, clever idea and brilliant colors.

Creative and well done ... looks a bit out of focus though

Fun idea - not a bad shot, though slightly soft focus. Great composition and will probably make a nice print for you on your wall.

Great title, and very interesting photograph... great way to photograph a foot without having an actual foot in the shot. I really do think feet are ugly, so this is quite pleasant to my eyes. Great colors & great focus. amazing job!
