 This is our 15 year old cat, Annabelle.

7/16/11 Annabelle made her final walk toward the light 2 days after I took this picture and passed away this morning. She was a good cat and I'll miss her.

Whether this image does well or poorly in the challenge matters little at this time. For me, this final portrait of Annabelle depicts her transition from life to death and means a lot to me.

oooh -- very nice image! I am NOT going to read the story, because I don't want to be sad. I'll be sad tomorrow instead.

This is VERY reminiscent of Ben's latest work. Adore kitties, and this is a wonderful homage to felines everywhere.

As stealthy an image as the beast who occupies it. I like that the only sharpness is seen in the whiskers.
