 When I shot this I did not have this challenge in mind. When I saw some of bspurgeon photos I figured this was close enough. Awesome photographer hope I did this user some justice.

Just couldn't process this photo like bspurgeon whose b/w photos are awesome.

Very pretty. Love the bokeh. I was trying to get the spot of light like that but couldn't make it work. Nice job.

I don't know enough about Ben's style to comment on that aspect of your photo. Whimsical and delicate - beautiful b/g - I love how you pped this shot - you really brought it to it's best - beautifully done.

Certainly the right topic, and in the right tonal ranges. For me, it's the composition that appears to be just slightly non-Bennish.

Nicely composed lines. Love the darkness, the drop of brightness and how it evolves from shadowy, abstract shapes on the left to the concrete leafy texture bathed in beautiful light on the right side.
