 Thanks for the comments guys. You are right, he was rolling a cigarette and yes Anita - Hyde Park. A rather sad image IMO. Had a brief chat to this guy after grabbing this candid shot. A little hard to understand each other, partly because he'd been drinking and partly because English was clearly not his first language. What is not evident from this shot is that he only has one eye and has significant scarring on the left side of his face. Given his poor English and the injuries I wondered whether he was a refugee from Afghanistan or the Middle East. If so, sad to see that he doesn't appear to be enjoying life much more in his new home.

This shot has quite a sad feel about it, his expression although he is probably concentrating on what is in his hand exudes I have given up.
