I think this photo could have been even better with more contrast. One way to get that in a shot like this would probably to use a polarizing filter. That could help deepen the blues in the sky and the browns in the ground.

The skyline is a tad overexposed which distracts and the subject is just plain boring but I guess the title helps explain things.
