 Taken on a hot sunny afternoon using an ND filter. I stood in the river wearing wellies to take the picture. Even though I'm quite happy with the framing, it was partly dictated by the presence of people lying around sunbathing on the rocks. You can see someone on the right hand side along with somebody else's foot.

Superb shoot and technique for basic, this is how it should be done, photographically, not with a 'puter. The edit afterwards is simple and effective to go to B&W. Before I get shot down by the rabid PP'ers amongst us, if you can shoot like this you can do anything in PP. Very professional work.

This pic is definitely right up my alley, but it appears to be HDR or a really vivid filter and I'm thinking that's beyond the basic challenge rules. Still really like it though. If it's not HDR I'd really like to know how it was shot/edited.
