like the motion effect created by the slow shutter. I think a tighter crop up top might make the photo better. Wish the story was more illustrative of the scene. " stuck in traffic again- hold lunch!"

The title is hurting this otherwise interesting story. It just doesn't line up. How about something like this: "Street crossing. I'd like to survive." ;-)
