Oh dear god, the British and the sunshine!

This was also one of my higher scores. It reminded me instantly of Martin Parr's New Brighton (The Last Resort) collection. I feel for her, those knees would be very very sore.

Just spotted this, totally amazing shot, we humans are strange things and this perfectly captures that.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Some people will take this as a snapshot. I don't. This is comedy, authenticity, juxtaposition - the iPod shuffle, the Morrison's bag, the rubble-like cobbles, the burnt skin, the meditative pose, the stark sunshine, the girls behind, the clipped head. All marvellous.

Critical stuff: Nothing.

Overall: Perfect parody of so much stereotyping. Well done.

This made me laugh but also made me sad that after all the warnings people do still 'roast' themselves ...oh dear...
