 Strange sky over my hometown. Just beyond the frame, the clouds ended abruptly, like a containment line was drawn, and the sky was perfectly blue beyond it.

Unseen in this image is how oddly they are all corralled behind some invisible fence. The sky on the other side was perfectly blue. Sadly, I was unable to get to a better vantage point to show the entire phenomenon - this (as most of the other images from this set) was taken on the freeway from a moving taxi.

Such an even displacement of the clouds that has such a distinctive line of diminishment is very unusual. Great capture ΓΆ€“ love the colours.

I like the way you captured these - it's weird that they're only over a small area but altocumulus are filled with water, right? Did it rain?

Yep. Went walking last night and quite enjoyed that sight while out! Didn't have a camera with me, though.
