I shot both on auto and they both came out with the same settings.
f/8 - ISO200 - 1/500 sec.

I went to Ft. Logan Cemetery and wanted to add some grave markers, but I just couldn't make it work. I am not that good at "expert" editing. So I ended with this.

I like the idea here and the framing with the flag is excellent I just wish the lighting on the gun and helmet was more pronounced, as it is the details gets lost in the shadows.
