Seeing as others went for the B&W editing versions I thought I would have a bash at a colour version.
Opened in Camera RAW, split toning with orange highlights and blue shadows. Recovery and fill light sliders mostly. Opened in PS CS3, played a bit with Tony Kuyper's Triple Play, straightened horizon, cloned out half bird in flight on right, reduce noise a bit, add 2 layers in screen mode and mask out with gradient tool to make person and around his head brighter, Adamus sharpening to resize. Add (my attenmpt at an) arty border :-)
