If Alfred Hitchcock made a movie with squirrels this one would make the cover ;) It's not a menacing shot but there's that touch of mystery. This is a really good low key shot. Perhaps not exactly the kind of silhouette voters were looking for but this is a good shot on its own.

This got a high mark from me - love the mystery and the light in his eye.

There is something both menacing and hypnotizing about this.

Perhaps just my monitor, but a bit too dark. At first glance, a cat. At closer inspection, not. The gleam from the eye, the hind foot claws illuminated. The lack of anything to give perspective as to the size of the creature. This has a sinister feel to it. Very nicely done.

I would have left a bit more in the highlights but great moody image - 8

Nice shot but looks a little bit flat to me.

Not quite a silhouette, I can see detail in the squirrel.

a bit on the dark side. having a hard time finding an interesting story in this. The whiskers in the bokeh are interesting, I wonder if that's where your "true" photograph lies.
