This seems more like a print than a photograph. In fact reminds me of a painter whose paintings are like prints/lithographs. The composition and use of light make this surreal. Love the sil. |

Has a title ever been more precise? :-) Bumping from 7 to 9... |

Nice use of the empty chairs to emphasize the feeling of "alone". |

Would have so loved if this were a scene depicting a card reader and readee, the latter with a death card or somesuch ominous reading.... the light creating the silhouette is too much, something softer or more suffused would create more of a night time feel I think. |

Overall good image. Good composition as well as gray tones. I feel like nothing really pops out or makes this super special. However, I like how you can almost tell that the person has this non-chalant expression on their face. |

Seems a bit too studied and some annoying halos but still a 6 for a good idea. |

I wonder what this would look like with the person centered in the image. I think a center composition would emphasize the loneliness (and harshness) implied by the b'n'w, game/title, starkness of the room, and the facelessness. |

Really gives the feeling of loneliness here. Future possibilities include having the subject sitting near a window might have added some interest to the scene. (Just so you know, I am not judging the elements of the photograph that are not present.) |

A great silhouette of life, more people than we think lead solitary lives even if they are busy, one of the more meaningful shots in this challenge. |

excellent story, and relatively good tones for a single light source. I love the less-than-perfect hair, and the sweater/shirt with a collar. Her hands seem to be in an uncomfortable position, I rarely see solitaire played with two hands.
on the post side, I can see quite a bit of dodging around the silhouette, it's most noticeable at her hands and elbow region. |

Great atmosphere, although the cropped chair and place mat on the left are distracting. Might have been better as a square crop. |
