I spent part of Memorial Day weekend in the Ithaca, New York area and had to stop in at my favorite water fall in the region. Taughannock Falls is over 215 feet tall and is a popular tourist attraction in the area along with nearby Cornell University in Ithaca.
I, along with the rest of my family love the photo, and I hope it goes over well with the rest of the DPC community. :)

I forgot to add...
Unfortunately I didn't have the time to shoot this in a manner that I normally would have due to time constraints. I wanted to set my tripod up along with my ND filters to smooth out the water a little bit, but even with the fast shutter speed and the amount of water coming over the falls this time of year it turned out better than I thought. Not bad for hand holding and being in a rush. I also would have liked to have shot it at f/16 or f/22 for more DOF, but as I mentioned I was in a hurry and had my camera set up more for family portraits with the falls as the background and didn't really think to increase the aperture for my shot....next time!
