i feel an instant connection with this image. some of the b&w treatments "felt" noisy even though i knew they weren't ...something about the texture of the sand in b&w gives a noisy feel. i LOVE the clean lines on top of this dune, the way it contrasts from shady side to side that's facing the sun. great thirds, love the distant mountains. just everything about this shot pulled me to it immediately, it's the first of the 6 that i opened, and each one i saw i kept thinking "i still like #4".
not sure if this is legal, but can you clone out that wisp of cloud? then get a gradient feel for the sky like you have in #5? (im not sure if i'm using the right term "gradient"..im referring to the depth of blue that gradiually melts into a different shade of blue) |
