 Photo taken with Canon 7D using a 70-200 f/4L IS USM at 1/125 f/5.6 ISO 500.

I was outside photographing birds while standing on a ladder and noticed these pretty flowers. I laid down and got as close to the MFD of the lens as possible.

I'm not fond of the purple blur in the foreground - could this have been removed before capturing the image?

I needed a second look to really appreciate this shot. The colors and textures are great, and the oof streaks of blades of grass (or leaves) along with the hints of more flowers oof in the foreground and background really come together nicely. I especially like how in the top third of the photo the flowers pop in focus against the same color flowers in the background.
