Ooo, I like this. It is perfect for the square crop, and I love the lighting, the tones, and the distortion. Don't keep that pretty lady waiting too long! :)

Perfect idea for a square crop. Symmetry is what I think of, and what would do that better than a fisheye? You've crammed an entire scene into a square. And there's a great human element as well. Wonderful eye, excellent idea, and very well done.
