Photographer’s Notes
Procrastinating again. Compounded by moving to a new house. And a new job. Argh – no time to think, much less shoot. Me thinks that if you’re inclined to like darkish/macro/abstract stuff with a quirky title, you’ll vote this high. Else, you won’t. I was going to say, “Film at Eleven.” But of course film is dead.

As an aside, I'm beginning to think I've been bitten by the posthumous bug.

For those who are curious, I grew up in Montana and have handled and shot rifles, shotguns, handguns my entire life. This particular revolver is a Smith & Wesson originally owned by my father-in-law. On the barrel there's a stamp that it was patented February 6. 1906, September 14, 1909, and December 29, 1914. So the intellectual property I'm holding is nearly 100 years old. I am researching its history and know it was made before December 7, 1941 when the serial number format changed. And it's a "pre-model 17," as in pre-WWII. I find this stuff interesting.
