 She did manage to catch my flash before it hit the water and I was able to twist the lastolite umbrella back into shape and continue the shoot.

You right... the flash is clearly going off on it's way down.

I'm very lucky she had quick reactions and wasn't afraid to catch things as they came crashing down.
