Well, you almost achieved your goal of the brown ribbon. But I think this picture is much better than the score. Yes, it's strange looking and won't appeal to a lot of people but I personally this it's great. By the way, I love the His & Hers pic in your portfolio.

Very difficult shot to capture, it is slightly washed out. Hard to tell what light source you have used but it is far too harsh, maybe bounce flash or a reflector would improve it.
I don't care for the frame

This is SERIOUSLY overexposed and posterized. It took me a while to figure out what it was.

I dig the the photo. I like the high contrast but even in high contrast photos there should be some information in the white space especiallly when the white space takes up most of the frame. 7.

What the heck is this? Sorry, it's a nice abstract composition of whites, greys and blacks, but it falls short as a macro photo to me.
