It's a shame the average voter around here cannot see past the usual cliched range of images. If they could, you'd have received the score you deserved for this. I think this is the most interesting entry in this challenge. Well done.
it's not a typical photo for this site. i wonder if you will get a lot of low votes b/c it is not so fundamental. i like it though- i like the feel you gave it.
An interesting shot. Not sure the grain is going to be well received by all, but it works for me. Also, extra marks just because it's not a picture of another bloody flower! :)
