 I wiggled into a rather uncomfortable spot on the ground to get that orange highlight right behind the flower, which I had stuck into a crack on my deck. It looks a bit like there's white smoke coming out of a peace pipe .. just a bit ;-)

This particular Daffodil variety is named Thalia. Usually has two blooms per stalk, but I found a singleton to prop in front of late afternoon-lit trees.

PP - white balance, levels, increased saturation and contrast, dodged flower, resized, sharpened, added border.

i like the placement of the bloom surrounded by the burst of color - but the edge of the object on the side seems unnecessary - i would think it better with it cropped out

I like how it's in the bokeh spotlight but I'm not so sure about the centered composition. Cute little flower.
