 We are traveling this week. Otherwise I might have wondered the isles of the local market for interesting vegetables. Instead, the night the challenge was closing, my son was relaxing on the bed of our hotel. I called him over to the chair by the window, draped my black jacket over the table, put his hand on the jacket and took a few shots. Unfortunately, it is a dark and dreary day here in Dublin. ISO is higher than I would like.

In terms of processing, I have little experience especially with black and white. I mostly rotated, toyed with contrast and levels and cropped. I have no clue how this will be received.

Looks like the BW entry #8. Almost there in my opinion. I like the tones .

a good idea for a textural study - a bit more light and a bit deeper depth of field are probably in order to really pull out the details

Had a similar idea, just feel it needs a wider tonal range. Seems a bit murky. (not voting)

Mmm, creative take on Weston! I wish the shapes and contours suggested alternative biology, but still I think this is very well conceived and executed. Well done!
